HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS

Here are the soups we are asking for. They have a variety of different flavors and are sold at most stores for around $3.50. I have seen them at Walmart and Maceys. We will be asking  for the use of your crock pots as well. The idea is we can make and freeze these and use them in our ward for those sisters that need a compassionate service. All that would be left to really make this a meal is a bag of salad and a loaf of french bread. We feel this could be helpful all around, for those of us that are busy or may not have the funds to provide a whole meal. We hope you'll see the importance in this and donate some soup.

This is an example of one of the cards we will have there to be made. We are asking you sisters to help us do this. We would like to be able to give again those sister who need a compassionate service a little note that we are thinking of them. These will be available for you to use for them as well. All supplies for this will be provided. We just need help making them.

We are also asking for the donation of fleece so that we can restock our baby blanket's. As you know we have had a couple of births in the ward and we love to give those new babies a blanket. We also need your help in finishing the edges on them and getting them ready for a new sweet baby in the ward.
A place “where hearts and hands are joined together in a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable environment. It is a place where women of all ages can strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and learn parenting and homemaking skills. It is a time when sisters can socialize, learn, and be uplifted." Bonnie D.
